Founded in 1990, SEKOM is a privately owned Austrian company working in international metals trading and project development.
We connect specialist material requirements with producers around the world. Our customers range from multinational businesses to specialist companies and trading firms across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
Materials are our starting point
Our business focuses on refractory and transition metals, including tungsten, molybdenum, rhenium, tantalum and titanium. We also work with precious and platinum-group metals, rare earth metals and oxides, concentrates and scrap.
Long-standing relationships with producers help us source materials and products to our customers’ specifications. Scrap conversion and recycling on a toll basis form a substantial part of our work.

Thinking beyond the material
We bring the same interdisciplinary approach to project development, engineering and procurement for energy infrastructure. Our services include project structuring, technical and financial feasibility studies, and equipment supply, particularly for renewable and emission-free power production.
